A documentary filmmaker at heart, Zagon is a recipient of the Special Jury Prize in Sarajevo for his documentary film, Nine Month War. Increasingly branching out into new forms, his latest feature film, Gentle,  is currently included in the official competition program of Sundance. In addition, his TVC client list includes McDonald's, MG, Raiffeisen, Telekom, and Telenor. Zagon is a member of the Hungarian Cinematographers Association, where he won the Grand Award in 2023. He is also a member of Boddah creative.
